Celebrity stylist Kithe Brewster dishes with In Touch on how he put together Kate Beckinsale’s breathtaking Golden Globe Look.

KateBeckinsale0113.jpg
Kate Beckinsale wows us time and time again with every red carpet appearance. “She’s a style icon and her look has really evolved,” her stylist Kithe Brewster tells In Touch. So it should come as no surprise that at this year’s Golden Globes, Kate landed on top of our best-dressed list. Her stylist looked at over 50 gowns, but he knew the search was over when he saw a white strapless J. Mendel gown in the designer’s showroom a few days before the event. “I was so impressed with the razor sharp cut and mermaid silhouette,” says Kithe. “I think it’s the most beautiful dress the designer has ever made.” So at Kate’s dress fitting, Kithe only showed the star three gowns and saved the J. Mendel one for last. “The moment Kate put on the gown, she knew it was the one too,” reveals Kithe. “Kate felt so amazing in the gown that she even walked around in it 40 minutes after we finished the fitting.” To complete the picture perfect look Kate and Kithe chose colorful Fred Leighton chandelier earrings that complement the vintage vibe of the dress. And the rest is style history!

A Juicy night

Fashionistas1113.jpg
Stars burst onto the scene in candy-colored looks at the Juicy Couture Flagship Store opening in Manhattan. “I love how girlie it is and the colors,” rising style-star Emma Roberts tells In Touch. “You can take their stuff to the beach or wear it to a really big event!” Gossip Girl’s Jessica Szohr rocked a green-apple number from the line and new extra-long extensions, but as fabulous as she looked, the star says she finds posing on the red carpet a bit strange. “I feel like I never know what I'm doing,” she confesses to In Touch. Even if she thinks that’s the case, Jessica and all the other Juicy Couture fans look dynamite to us.

Hayden’s three hairstyles in 24 hours

Heroes star Hayden Panettiere recently rocked three different hairstyles in one day! The man behind the transformations, Leonard Zagami, tells In Touch that Hayden isn’t afraid to try new looks. “Hair is just another accessory that she wears,” says the celebrity stylist.

Hayden1003_LOOK1.jpg
Look 1:
Hayden started her day with a side-parted braid in front and a messy bun in back. “Hayden likes to keep her hair off her face,” explains Zagami. So instead of a sleek pulled-back look, the braid offers texture.

Hayden1003_LOOK2.jpg
Look 2:
Within just 10 minutes, Zagami says he turned Hayden’s braided style into a sleek bob. First, he took out the braid and extensions. Then, he sectioned the hair and using the Linea Pro Titanium Flat Iron(henribendel.com), Zagami straightened out the wavy texture. “Hayden loves that she can smooth shorter pieces using the iron without loosing the volume of the hair,” says Zagami.

Look 3:
For the evening, Hayden wanted to add a “rocker edge” to her look. So Zagami added volume on top by teasing the hair and smoothing out the sides with the Linea Pro Iron. He finished the look by putting extensions in the back.

Hot Hollywood stars need their PRVCY

FashionistasJeans0918.jpg
Jessica Alba and Miley Cyrus are all for keeping their PRVCY, a hot new premium denim line. The cuts are uber-flattering and the signature stitching adds a little extra flair. But the best part about these stylish PRVCY jeans is that the company donates 10 percent of its sales to foundations supporting breast cancer awareness. So now that you have no more excuses, head over to http://www.shopharmonylane.com/store to pick up a pair for yourself while helping out a great cause.

Who is your favorite Calvin Klein model of all time?

CalvinKlein0915.jpg
Stars like Halle Berry and Eva Mendes gathered at the High Line in New York City to celebrate Calvin Klein’s 40th anniversary on September 7. Brooke Shields actually arrived wearing the same jeans she modeled when she was 15 for her Calvin Klein ads! There’s no denying that all of the ads are unforgettable, so In Touch wanted to know which Calvin Klein model the stars love the most.

Molly Sims
“Mark Wahlberg in his underwear — that was a good one.”

Matt Dallas
“Brooke Shields is a classic with her, ‘Nothing comes between me and my Calvins.’ But the one that stood out to me the most is Hilary Swank in the bra. It was just like, ‘Whoa.’”

Lindsay Price
“Brooke Shields, naturally.”

Rachel Zoe
“Kate Moss ads. I think Calvin’s ads are constantly groundbreaking. Sexy and simple.”

Kimora Lee Simmons
“I think Djimon [Hounsou]’s ad is the best. He is the only guy of color. Which I think is amazing and very necessary.”

The hottest dress in Hollywood

Fashionistas_dresses0902.jpg
Stars are obsessed with the Hervé Léger bandage dress, and rightly so. This magic fashion staple sucks you in and shows off your curves, yet it’s still comfortable to wear. “It’s basically like one big Spanx,” Rachel Bilson told In Touch at the Whitney Art Party, which was co-chaired by Hervé Léger designer Max Azria. Gossip Girl Michelle Trachtenberg couldn’t stop gushing about the dress, either. “It’s fabulous. I think the dress is the epitome of elegance and sex appeal, but it is still classy.” What do you think about the Hervé Léger look?

How to wear the hottest headband

fashionista_Paris0801.jpg
From Ashlee Simpson to Paris Hilton, stars are sporting this season’s hottest hair accessory: headbands. But let’s face it, not every celeb is rocking the look right, so here are our In Touch Tips to keep you on track.

Fit: The boho-chic look is back, but if you’re going to wear a band across your forehead make sure it’s not too tight. If it is, you’ll be extremely uncomfortable and run the risk of looking like a mushroom, which is never stylish.

Placement: As Paris Hilton shows, wearing a headband behind your ears and about an inch behind your hairline looks sweet and elegant. If it’s too far forward, it will shrink your face and if it’s too far back, your forehead will look huge.

Tame the mane: Even though a headband is a lifesaver when you’re suffering from a bad hair day, you should still make sure your overall look is presentable and polished. So just slide on a scarf or band and then pull the rest of your hair in a simple bun or ponytail if the rest of your hair is too unruly.

If you’re ready to try this latest fashion fad, we highly recommend headbands by Lavender Girl.

Maxi dresses are a must

fashionista_HaydenHeidi0801.jpg
Whether you’re tall, thin, curvy or slim, maxi dresses work on every body type.

If you’re tall like Heidi Klum: Try a patterned maxi. Your height will help you carry a busy print. Just pair them with gladiator sandals and you’ll be good to go. Juicy Couture Voile Patio Dress

If you’re petite like Hayden Panettiere: A solid-colored dress like Hayden’s Gypsy 05 maxi is super-flattering and lengthening. Gypsy 05' Maxi

If you’re busty like Jessica Simpson: For a woman with a larger chest, a halter-style dress offers a lot more support than a strapless maxi or one with spaghetti straps.

If you’re a mommy-to-be like Ashlee Simpson: A woman with a growing baby bump and bust needs to find something that's super-comfortable and forgiving. Akiko Clothing

We’d love to hear your thoughts on the maxi trend, so e-mail us at fashionista@intouchweekly.com and remember, Stay Stylish!

Demi Moore: Rock Bottom
It could have been a happy night for Demi Moore — a chance to put the most painful and humiliating period of her life behind her, even if just for a few hours. But while Demi had been nominated for a Directors Guild award for co-directing the Lifetime special Five, she spent the January 28 ceremony in hiding as she coped with the fallout from a drug incident that landed her in the hospital five days earlier. “She’s literally hiding in shame over how far she has fallen,” a pal shares.

Could Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. be the next in a long list of celebrity couples heading for divorce? Tabatha Coffey’s Tough Love

Seal’s Ex: Don’t Take Him Back
The song that Seal chose for his performance on a recent episode of Ellen — Al Green’s “Let’s Stay Together” — seemed specifically designed to make his estranged wife, Heidi Klum, reconsider her decision to end their marriage. While Seal may have good reason to endear himself to Heidi — who has legions of fans and pulled in a whopping $20 million last year — former supermodel Tatjana Patitz, 45, maintains that the singer is a selfish, immature man who is prone to frightening rages. “He is not a nice person,” Tatjana, who dated Seal for nearly a year, tells In Touch.
