Promising actor Justin Mentell lost his life in a one-car crash in his hometown of Waukegan, Wis., on February 1. The 27-year-old co-starred with William Shatner and James Spader on the now-canceled ABC series Boston Legal. According to Chief Deputy Jon Pepper, Justin was driving a 2005 Jeep Cherokee when it went off the road about 35 miles southwest of Madison. The vehicle struck a tree and rolled down an embankment, where it collided with another tree. Justin, who was found alone in the vehicle not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Brandy’s brother, Ray J, has been looking for love — but now it’s her turn! On January 28, she got cozy with rap superstar Flo Rida at Haze Nightclub at Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. “The two arrived together holding hands and having an intimate conversation,” an onlooker tells In Touch. “They are definitely hooking up.” And that’s not the first time the musical duo were together. They hung out at the Y100 concert in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., in December. Gisele Bündchen is already back at work, less than two months after the birth of her first child, Benjamin, in December. Gisele, who calls her newborn son "a little angel," says she’s not using nannies to help her out, but is instead relying on her family. She says her mom, Vania, watched the infant while she did a modeling shoot in Brazil — just six weeks after the delivery! Gisele says the secret to losing the baby weight was being healthy while she was expecting: “I kept myself in good shape during the whole pregnancy, eating healthily, meditating and doing exercises," Gisele told Brazil's Folha de São Paulo newspaper.

Sandra Bullock, who has just received a best actress Oscar nod for her starring role in The Blind Side, has also been nominated for a less-prestigious movie award. Sandra, who is tabbed as a Worst Actress contender for the bomb All About Steve, is this year’s most startling nominee for the goofy Razzie Awards, which recognize the worst of Hollywood each year. Sandra is not alone in the razzing: Miley Cyrus, Will Ferrell, Robert Pattinson, Beyoncé, the Jonas Brothers and a bunch of other famous names are all nominated. Megan Fox even received the dubious honor of being nominated twice as Worst Actress, for both Jennifer’s Body and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. The Razzies are handed out in Hollywood on March 6, the night before the Academy Awards.

That’s what made me feel important.” Today, the brunette beauty — now on tour with her husband — is devoting herself to saving animals. “Currently, our rescue has placed more than 250 animals in foster homes.”
